Viral Marketing
The concept of viral marketing is pretty simple actually
and you might have even thought of (or are) doing this
already --but, just never called it viral marketing. Viral
marketing is distributing a piece of software or an ebook
-for a price or for free- that:
- contains affiliate links to recommended products
and has imbedded links to get others to promote or buy
the ebook, or
- is "brandable" -meaning that a reader can
purchase rights to re-brand your ebook and use it as
their own and earn commission off of any affiliate links
imbedded in the ebook.
To create ebooks (the .exe type), you'll need a program
like:
- eBookGold
($97 retail) or
- eBookPro
-which retails for $197, but has a few more "theftproof"
features built-in (to protect your intellectual property).
Those products are great if you have a lot of sensitive
information that you absolutely want to protect. And,
of the ebook (.exe type) creators, eBookGold and eBookPro
are the best.
Another alternative is to create protected PDFs, but
that requires Adobe Acrobat (full version) --which is
quite expensive. There are a few off-brand PDF creators
that are great as well. Creating PDF versions of your
ebook is great for maximum compatibility across many types
of computers and operating systems.
Some of the off-brand PDF creators that are widely supported
are:
- JawsPDF
- one of the most heavily Acrobat alternatives and
- PDF995
- an up-and-coming, powerful PDF management software
To really explode your "rebranding" and "viral"
potential, you should consider making your ebook or PDF
re-brandable. In other words, sell (or giveaway) rights
to allow your readers to rebrand all of your affiliate
links and earn the commission themselves!

There are numerous ebook (.exe type) compilers and rebranders
out there. We have not yet had a chance to review any
of them.
Viral marketing is a great tactic to earn revenue when
promoting a product or service. The only drawback is that
as people grow more conscience of affiliate programs,
they may avoid your affiliate link. Sometimes it's to
spite you and sometimes it's to not give commissions in
case you are simply trying to trick them into buying something
not worthwhile.
For that reason, we always try to build credibility and
trust with our members. After building trust and after
demonstrating that the product or service is truly worth
their investment, we find that many people are more willing
to give those commissions. So, the bottom line is: build
trust, earn credibility, and only promote products/services
which can truly deliver.
