How we use Safelists effectively

vs. Paid Safelists
EFFECTIVE USE OF SAFELISTS
Let's delve in to how we use safelists and why our experience
has led us to do it this way.
For the most part, we focus on the following:
- Web based One Click - Paid Only Membership (10%)
- Web based One Click - Paid Membership with a Free
Member Option and Web based One Click - with Downline
(90%)
The majority of ineffective safelist use is due to the
fact that many people waste valuable time searching and
researching for free safelists online. The advantage of
some better safelist softwares (as we'll get into in a
later section) is that they do this for you! That will
free you up for more important things -like filling orders!
We use and highly recommend safelist software.
We then subscribe to a few Web based One Click - Paid
safelists. Some of these are the upgraded accounts (like
Ultimate
Mailer and Herculist).
If you decide to not use any safelist submission software
(will cover in a later section), then take a look at some
of these directories that should save you a little searching
time:

We occasionally pay a young person a few extra dollars
to use these types of systems:
Web based One Click – Credit system and
Web based One Click – Pay to read
However, this is not a main focus and if you can't outsource
this at a good rate; you should probably not bother with
these. We would definately not recommend only using these,
but rather using these above-and-beyond the other types
of lists. Remember the above two systems work on credits,
so they involve you either having to search the emails
you receive for clicklinks or reading every email you
get and clicking on the a special link to get credits.
The response rate of the Paid lists is slightly less
than credit or pay-to-read, but posting to a large number
of lists can help offset the difference. Also, it is important
to understand that unless your web site REALLY grabs someone's
attention, those visitors from credit and pay-to-read
will probably click and then immediately close the site
and move on.
Here's how it all works. One of the big keys to safelist
posting is playing the numbers game. By posting to only
a few lists, you will only get a few responses. Posting
to a large number of lists will yield a large response.
And this is made simple for us by using automated safelist
software that does the posting for us. Since we do not
spend time tediously logging in and posting to tons of
lists, we have more time to study results and improve
our sales copy (probably most important factor in sales).
Of course, you do not have to use automated safelist
software, but unless your time isn't all that valuable;
it should be a huge consideration. The software is relatively
inexpensive and can save you hundreds or even thousands
of hours in the long run!
As you might have guessed, signing up for a safelist
will dump a LOT of emails in your inbox. So many that
your inbox will become effectively useless. Let's continue
on and discuss a few options to combat this problem using
Safelist
Email Accounts.
