If you use Pay-per-click campaigns (or PPC Campaigns)
to drive traffic to your website, then you know that the
bid management tools available to manage bids at most
of those ppc search engines are very "lacking"
in features --to say the least.
With 7search, this is especially true! In fact, if you
run several campaigns -as I do- then you no doubt have
discovered that 7search allows a "Make #1, #2, #3",
but it applies to EVERY keyword in your account! That
isn't any good if you want #1 on some campaigns, but not
on others. So, what to do?
A bid management service is the answer, but I searched
and searched for hours only to find that nobody (not even
GoToast) supports 7search ...the one ppc search engine
that I need bid management for!
GoToast is a bid management service
that support numerous engines, but it costs a fortune
(hundreds per month!). I was hoping to find a cheaper
solution, but when I couldn't find anyone supporting 7search;
I was willing to pay anything.

Bid Maximizer Review
I try not to get my hopes up too high, but I was very
relieved when I found Bid Maximizer and that it supported
7search. I was skeptical because GoToast also said they
supported 7search, but when I signed up for an account;
I found out otherwise.
However, I downloaded the FREE Trial
version of Bid Maximizer to see if it "delivered."
I was ecstatic to say the least! I couldn't believe it!
This bid management tool works with all the major PPC
engines:
7search, Overture, Google, Ah-ha,
Espotting, FindWhat, Kanoodle, Sprinks,
Xuppa (bay9), ePilot, Lycos, Searchfeed, and Brainfox!
At first, it took me about an hour to figure out the
little nuances with the program. But now, I am finally
able to set my bid rules and relax! This program has too
many features to list, but here's a few of the bid management
main points that absolutely made my day:
- Supports numerous PPC search engines
- Imports your keywords from each PPC search engine
via the web (very cool!)
- Allows you to define min / max bids for default, global,
and individually
- Automatic Bid Adjustment at specified intervals (minutes
or hours)
- Is a steal at a one-time price of $149 (500 terms)
or $399 (5,000 terms)
*The Trial version is limited to only 20 terms
- Allows you to set rules (tons of options) on what
to do to achieve optimum placement at optimum price
points -always includes a "close bid gap"

*For the uninitiated, a bid gap is the term used to define
the situation in which one advertiser had bid an amount
of let's say: $1.04/click. You bid $1.05/click to beat
them. Then, for whatever reason, the other advertiser
lowers their bid to $0.80/click. However, you're still
paying $1.05. That's $0.25/click MORE than you need to
be paying to out rank them! That's a "bid gap."
This tool saves you a TON of money by always managing
your bids their optimal positions. This can add up to
substantial savings, but more importantly to me; this
saves a LOT of TIME!
Because of one advertiser that was constantly checking
(and outbiding) me on 7search --literally every 30 minutes
to an hour, I was going crazy! Now, I've always got them
beat on ALL of my terms and I don't have to spend hours
watching for them to outbid me again.
Obviously, I am very "gung ho" about this bid
management tool, and I HIGHLY recommend it.
Please Note: The Overture-Only version only supports
Overture, and the Standard version supports everything
EXCEPT Overture. If need them all, there is a combo pack.
